Yoni
In order to eliminate the stigma surrounding menstruation and to put women’s health at the forefront, Mariah Mansvelt Beck developed a sustainable period care business. When Mariah had a cervical cancer scare, it served as a personal experience that inspired the creation of Yoni. She became interested in the components of period care products as a result and learned how common plastics and synthetics are.
Mariah started Yoni in 2015 with the goal of redefining how people think about their periods. She was driven by a vision to develop transparent and long-lasting period care choices. Yoni seeks to make periods more considerate for everyone who experiences them while also being attentive by welcoming new ideas and encouraging open discussions on menstruation, vulvas, and vaginal health.
